Binary Options Scam - The Shocking Truth. A binary options scam is something anyone can avoid with the right information. Due to the amount of binary options brokers out there, it is very important that you know exactly who to trust and what to expect. So, how can you prevent a scam from happening to you? Don't sign up to a broker that is from a country which does not have a strong regulatory system. There's no point in having the best binary options method if the broker you are working with is not carefully regulated. This can lead to problems with withdrawing funds, slow trading platforms that get stuck and may result in you losing your money, little to no customer support, and the list goes on. Look out for different binary options complaints about the broker you are interested in joining. If you find any negative comments or scams about the broker, then you need to be careful. If, after doing all your research, you find that this binary broker has not responded to the negative comments out there, then it is advisable that you reconsider joining this broker since this shows that this broker is not active in fixing problems or improving their reputation. Try before you buy - it is important to test out the broker before you make any financial commitments. You can prevent a fixed return options scam by seeing if the broker's platform has all the useful features necessary to compliment your binary options method, responds quickly, answers your questions and offers you professional and reliable advice. Join forums or chat rooms and see what binary options scam is currently being discussed. You will be amazed how much information you can collect from other people's experiences by simply asking around. You can also apply similar steps of caution if you are thinking about joining a particular binary options signals provider. Common Binary Options Complaints.
Here are all the main scams that you should be aware of if you want to become successful in binary options trading: Credible binary options brokers are registered with trustworthy bodies and thus are transparent about their activities. If you therefore come across a broker that lists down non-credible regulatory bodies, or is not registered with a professional body at all, then this is likely to be a scam. You should also be aware that not everything is as it seems on the surface. For example, some brokers will use deposit bonuses with unfavourable small print terms to try and encourage you to join their site. It can be really frustrating if a broker promises a big sign-up bonus and then later you realise that you need to make two times or even three times turnover before you can have access to your bonus money. So, you will have to risk two to three times the amount of your original deposit before you are entitled to your bonus money. Although this is not necessarily a binary options scam, it is something that you can easily be tricked into if you are not careful. A binary options scam out there that you should be aware of is Terms & Conditions manipulation. You see it is very hard for you to develop any trust with any broker if they have the power to change their Terms & Conditions at any specific point. This is why it is essential that you look out for clauses in their Terms & Conditions that allow for retroactive changes, particularly regarding payouts. There are many binary options complaints out there that can be avoided just by becoming a little more savvy. GlobalTrader365 – You can usually know if a broker is suspicious just by their unprofessional name. GlobalTrader365 is a name one would choose randomly and quickly when creating a new get-rich-quick scheme and scam. Based on several real trader reviews on multiple forums the modus operandi of this broker is to manipulate people into depositing very large sums of money above $5,000+ claiming that they will then reveal some magic winning secrets. Once the money is deposited, no one will reply to your emails anymore or answer your phone calls. Your money will be gone.
GlobalTrader365 is a SCAM. Safe24Options – This broker appears to be ripping off the trust and name of the broker 24Option, which is a legitimate broker licensed in the European Union. Safe24Options and 24Option are NOT the same company. The most common complaint about this broker is complete non-payment regardless of the amount. Usually once you register a customer service representative will approach you and make all kinds of wild claims and promises that if you deposit a very large amount he’ll show you an unknown winning secret. Once you deposit, you’ll never hear from him again. Safe24Options is a SCAM. Sycamore Options – There are rumors according to which Sycamore Options is being run by the same company as TraderXP, another binary options scam. It appears that after the large negative publicity, TraderXP simply decided to change its name and operate under a new scam. Sycamore Options is in our opinion one of the worst binary options scams as there have been reports of the broker fraudulently charging people’s credit cards. One trader reported on a popular binary options forum that after a deposit of $200 the broker ninja-withdrew an additional $800 in 4 incremental payments without the trader’s permission. The trader was refused any compensation. Do NOT register at Sycamore Options it’s a SCAM. Binary International – There is not much information available about this binary options broker.
This does not necessarily mean that this broker is a scam however the fact that it’s extremely hard to find any information about the company running this broker is suspicious. The general rule of thumb when registering at binary options brokers is that you should avoid anything that appears suspicious. You should trust your gut feeling if something appears off. You might be wrong in certain cases but it’s not worth taking the risk of registering at a potential scam. Binary International might not be a scam but it looks suspicious as it’s difficult to see what company runs this broker. Cedar Finance – Cedar Finance might not necessarily be a scam however the way the company owners promoted this broker in the past resulted in them being blacklisted by multiple online trading websites and forums. Cedar Finance is perhaps known as one of the largest spammers in the business. In the past, they were ranking for a huge number of “make money online” keywords in Google and promoted a massive number of fake video testimonials from supposed “clients”. While they might not be scamming people directly (not paying out winnings etc.) they do seem to be very happy about misleading random people into believing that with binary options “you can turn $200 into $1,000 in 60 seconds”. Due to their predatory nature and aggressive and dishonest marketing we do not recommend Cedar Finance as a suitable binary options broker even though they don’t seem to be a scam. VIPBinary – VIP Binary is another broker that does not necessarily appear to be a scam but still managed to generate a lot of negative feedback from losing traders. While the broker might be legit, we believe you should not risk and register there considering that there are plenty of reliable alternatives out there. VIPBinary also engages in dishonest and manipulative advertisement tactics promising traders massive winnings if they just deposit $1,000 more into their accounts.
While traders doing this might appear to be dumb (I mean, why would you listen to a BROKER telling you to invest MORE money?) it’s sneaky and shady to manipulate these people into losing their money. VIPBinary is a suspicious broker you should avoid. EZ Binary – EZ Binary is a broker that appears to be piggybacking the brand and trademark of EZTrader. EZTrader is a legit and fully EU regulated binary options broker that should not be confused by EZ Binary. The two brokers are owned by two completely different companies not related to each other. The fact that EZ Binary is stealing the brand value of another broker in order to fool people into believing that they are trading at a different broker means that EZ Binary is a scam. EZ Binary is a SCAM. How do we Decide if a Binary Options Broker is a Scam? One of the best ways to decide if a binary options broker is a scam or not is to look out for real trader reviews at reputable Forex or binary options websites. One of the most important forums to look for such information is ForexPeaceArmy.
com that regularly has real user feedback posted on brokers. If a binary options broker gets too much negative feedback related to issues such as non-payment of withdrawals, fraudulent claims and aggressive marketing practices then the broker will automatically land on our scam list. Something that we genuinely don’t like is brokers that outright manipulate and fool their clients into depositing massive amounts of money claiming that after they do so the broker will tell them some hidden secret about making money online. Binary options is not magic and you cannot make money using binary options in just 60 seconds by making random trades. You can only make money in binary options if you put in a great deal of effort into research and execution. Anyone, be it a broker or an informational website, who promises you “guaranteed wins in 60 seconds” is lying and profiting from you being stupid if you buy into it. So, any brokers that promise “massive wins without effort” will land in our scam list even though they aren’t necessarily doing anything flat out scammy. We are also suspicious towards binary options brokers that are completely new and appear to be mysterious and obscure. If you see a broker and can’t verify the company behind it and genuinely have no clue who the people running it are then you better stay away. Our binary options scams list is constantly growing based on the feedback and experiences we get. Check back later if you want to find out more information about scam binary options brokers. If you want to trade at genuine brokers then check out our legit binary options brokers page. On that page we listed the broker we now for sure are legitimate and have no history of scamming their traders.
Right now the broker with the most licenses and the best reputation in the business is 24Option. Check out the linked review in order to find out exactly why this broker is legit. Latest Binary Options Articles & Guides. In this article I will talk about the binary options signal application OneTouch. Find out of this application is a scam or not. In this article I will be talking about the binary options signal service provider called the High Frequency Trader. This service was launched on August 9 2016. Read this review to find out if this service is a scam or not. 152 Comments on "Scam Binary Options Brokers" I’ve never tried Inside Option so can’t speak whether it’s good or not. On the other hand, it’s not one of the larger and better known brokers pout there. Sure, Inside Option could be legit, I don’t know but with so many 100% legit brokers to choose from that also have a good reputation why risk registering at a smaller and unknown broker that may or may not turn out to be legit.
Judith Bonhomme: I have some money in Inside Option, and hope you are right in your statement that they are a legit and serious company. I went in with small money, see it rising steadily, but it is impossible to know if Inside Option is a scam or not before turnover is reached some day. Option trading seems to be stepping into the world of gambling, and of course then trouble is an option. The owner got arrested he also owns safe option. just wait until you try to get your money out. GO ON, PROVE ME WRONG. try pulling out $1000k. The owner got arrested by the Israeli police. Are you still happy with inside option or have you lost all your money? Did you know that the same person owns safe option as well and he finally got arrested by the Israeli police because it’s all a big scam. I see that you have put Option Bot 2.0 on your not recommended list. May I ask why would you say so? Hi. Because it has been proven time and time again that is simply does not work and you lose all the money you have deposited. I don’t doubt your observations, but I would like to point out that you just replied to yourself while pretending to replying to a completely different person.
With this said, UK Options can still suck but it’s awkward to write comments on blogs pretending to be multiple people, while it’s the same person writing all comments. 😀 For your information, my contacts in the UK advised me that UK Options is not even regulated, though they claim that they are! I was told by my account manager John Burnet that they were definitely regulated, and that if they were not, “the police would be knocking on their doors!” Just shows you that cheating and lying are their stock of trade. If they keep this kind of fraudulent scam going a bit longer, the police will really be knocking on their doors. UK Options is indeed an unregulated broker. There is really no reason to trade at an unregulated broker considering there are so many regulated brokers out there. Have you heard about a fellow watchdog by the name of Michael Freeman? He actually goes out of his way to protect some known scams and actively promotes some of them. I think it is time someone set up a website to blacklist sham watchdogs to distinguish real watchdogs like yourself from fake watchdogs like Michael Freeman or scam lapdogs. I know he pushes Option Bot 2 as a legit signal provider, while it’s know that Option Bot does not work as advertised. If I’m not mistaken there was also a scandal about his own signal that delivered bad results while it was advertised as a sure-win product. Surprise, surprise, Michael Freeman is a scam signal provider himself.
No wonder in his fake watchdog role, he suppressed his rivals and promote some scam brokers, hoping they would join hand with him to rip off their joint victims. I think Michael Freeman and his ilk can be compared to a moral crusader, who runs brothels on the sly, or a self-proclaimed dog lover, who sells dog meat on the black market! No matter what method you adopt, if you make a deposit with scam brokers like UK Options, a pack of THIEVES led by a shameless rogue and swindler, Sean Park, who will simply reset your password without your prior knowledge and consent, take out ALL your money and lose it on a single imaginary trade, without showing you any trading record, except an empty account! Hi there. I have problem with inside option, Daniel Jackson. My account looks great from 30k starting capital to 160k. But now i cannot even withdraw a single cent. I have wrote to Daniel Jackson, email the support help, msg the live chat, has been 2 months now and i still dont hear anything from them… can anyone help me how who and which legal department i can write to? Frastrating and feel cheated. Hi Ayesha. Sorry to hear about your experience. As far as I know Inside Option is not regulated, and as such you can expect such things to happen. Like I say in my articles, make sure you choose a regulated binary broker before you register. This will always ensure that you won’t be scammed and that your withdrawals will always be processed without any issues. yes.
I like to know more pls Winifred. Winifred please contact me I cannot get contact with David Petraeus easily without more information. To INSIDE OPTION I deposited 1500 Euro+1500 Euro bonus. They give all kind of issues unabling withdrawals, asking for more money to trade for me with. They don’t seem to be brokers to me, only scammers. The money is supposedly gone looking at Ayesha Hong and others’ comments about this “broker” company. I will for sure have a rough time to get over this. In the same boat my friend. In the same boat. Winifred I don’t believe you much concerning this Petraeus man, because you never gave any contact point to him nor answer to Ayesha Hong or me. I was advised to frame Inside option for card fraud through my bank. Fraud: “not to service or sell the product promised”. I claimed that seller did not inform me about bonus consequences.
Inside Option wrote long bullshit letter ending that they would “show good will”and pay1000€ (75%). I accepted,&promptly got paid. 1. document all emails in case, 2. write formally, short email to Inside Option claiming my refund 1000 € (that I had been promised before in telephone conversation with Jane in account department), with short argument of why I requested a refund. HAVE YOU TRIED WITHDRAWING YOUR MONEY YET. try doing that before you say all these nice things about him. YEP i got alot of money in my account too. CANT GET IT, AND THEY BLOCKED ME. i really hope your not about to be scammed sarah. Thank you for that well, no brilliantly written piece about the scum bag Michael Freeman. Did he have a bit of an accent, like middle easternindian. I RECKON ITS THE SAME BLOKE who is doing alot of these false flag investment companies. MIne went by the name HUGE OPTIONS.
I repeat HUGE OPTIONS. nOTHING BUT A HUGE RIP OFF. oH AND PRICKS NAME IS michael muller. I recently traded with a binary options broker headquartered in Dublin, Ireland by the name of Glenridge Capital. After several winning trades I tried to test the verasity of the broker by making a withdrawal. Neither my Account Manager nor their Support department would communicate back to me so I requested via e-mail to close the account and return my funds. They are non-communicative and clearly a scam brokerage. Please advise your readers to avoid the broker at all cost. Their money will go in but never get returned. sAME HAPPENED TO ME AT huge options (michael Mullar). its probaly the same bloke going under a different trading name. THEY Bastards arent they.
IF YOU WANT TO EXCHANGE NOTES, MOST WILLING TO CHAT WITH YOU. I have never heard of Glenridge Capital and I sincerely doubt it’s located in Ireland. It’s probably fake. It’s extremely important to make sure that you only register at known brokers that have valid licenses to avoid similar things happening. Thanks for letting us know of this scam and I really hope you have not lost too much money. Unfortunately these scams sometimes manage to sell themselves as legit brokers while in reality they are fake. There are many new trading signals providers appearing on the horizon, some good, some not so good and some downright scams, such as Mike’s Auto Trader, which despite it grossly exaggerated hypes has a miserable success rate of 30-50%, at which rate you’ll lose all the money in your trading account in no time, regardless of which broker you use. So keep a wide berth from this fake signals provider! I have just signed up with EzTrader and am not if they are reputable or not. I put in 4 trades the first time and only 2 won, and I put in 4 the second time, and all of them lost. What makes matters worse is they are requesting that I send them a photostat copy of my credit card, which makes me smell a rat. I am writing to you asking for advise if it is a normal procedure with all binary option companies to request for such information. Thanks and Regards.
Did you find out if EzTrader are reputable? I am in the same boat. No, I haven’t found out yet. I have since left them, and registered with another broker. Hope you have registered with a different regulated broker and not an unregulated broker. Keep in mind that all regulated and licensed brokers will require you to send the information that EZtrader was asking you. If the broker you have registered at did not ask this information there is a high chance the broker is not regulated and was only interested in you making a deposit (hence, not even verifying you). All brokers require a copy of your credit card, usually with some numbers blanked out in order to verify your account. EzTrader is a licensed and regulated broker. All licensed and regulated brokers will requite that kind of information in order to verify traders’ identity. It’s not because of the brokers but because this is required by the regulators as anti-money laundering measures.
It’s safe to send this data (obviously with some numbers blocked) to LICENSED BROKERS ONLY. Do not do this with some unknown and unregulated broker. Traderskings ? Scam or not ? 71 Options same group Scam or not ? Spotless Scam or not ? All smalltime and unknown brokersservices. I would definitely stay away. Michael Freeman must be desperate and is forced to market trading software he once viciously attacked as scams, such as Gold Digger and Virtnest, now that he has realized that there aren’t many takers of his own fake signals, Mike’s Auto Trader. Micheal Freeman is the man who does all the scam work he act innocent never trust this guy he is the one who promoted the NEO 2 software After trusting him my account was zero Freeman must ban. is the secret millionaire society and it’s 365 binary Option is scam ?
The secret millionaire society does indeed seem like a scam, yes. Not sure about 365binayoption. It’s an unknown and unregulated broker, so I would stay away. Anyone has or had experience with Banc De Binary? i didn’t see any mention of that broker in this forum. Banc de Binary is a licensed broker but it’s also the one that has the most complaints and warnings from traders. I personally would stay very far away from this broker. They are licensed but they are known for very questionable practices such as very aggressive marketing and convincing traders to make “recommended trades”, which obviously they will lose. This is also the reason I never included Banc de Binary into any of my toplists. I also have bad experience with Banc de Binary. They manipulate the asset prices in a way that most trades loses. I am a member of banc de binary and they wiped of mine £5000 in 2 days. I don’t know what to do . Sounds like OPTION RALLY except they got about 100k.
the case is still continuing. it looks like this modus operandi is quite widespread!! i posted that review here, i think you will find it quite interesting!! Lol. Who even uses the name “David Petraeus” for such scams? – Talk about not even being creative. I’m going to keep that comment just because it’s funny. This is all bullshit people. This guy himself scammed me $1700 for a so called account upgrade. Everyone stay away from his partner Tom li from tech toms company. All shit and coward thieves. Finpari is the worst broker I have used. Every time before my position would expire if I was one pip away and when the clock hit zero and THEN it says validating after it has already hit zero the price would jump up and I would lose. This broker truly disgusts me. How does one get OptionBit to pay out one’s winning or even communicate with one?
They have disappeared from the “face'” of the earth and you are promoting for them. They do not pay out one’s winning. I have tried for a week to get my winnings of app $2500 out of the with no communication. Help what can one do cause they are not even registered. Has anyone heard about Broker Official? I’m having some issues to withdraw my money and suspecting is a scam…does anyone have a suggestion in what to do? DONT ever entertain a company called EDGEDALE FINANCE. they are bad news. will take money and suddenly all is lost. the name oalso associated with it is GREYMOUNTAIN MANAGEMENT! the names of brokers which I believe are fictitious are ADAM KLEIN, RICHARD GREEN, SOFIA FOX, DR FRANZ GEORG STRAUSS. Feel like all binary is scam. yes, dealing with edgedale now. Withdraws look impossible.

Thanks to brokers Tom , Adam & manager Alice. Beware. all companies under Gold Horizon , located in granadines. Check fine print. Has anyone had any dealings with BuyerBank? Right now, binary trading is largely unregulated, which means that there is no simple registry where you can look up brokers and come up with a reputable list based off of the governing bodies regulations, inspections and audits. There are some independent websites that list reputable binary options brokers like binaryoptionsblacklist. com. You can use that site as a guide to see ratings and trader reviews of many of the brokers listed here and other popular binary trading portals around the web. If for example you were looking for a FX broker, you could check to make sure that a broker was registered with the NFA. The NFA does not regulate binary trading (yet), and most binary options brokers worldwide are unregulated. The few who are regulated are generally based in Cyprus and are regulated by . Remember – Even the Best Binary Options Strategies and System Suck Sometimes! SCAM WATCH. Don't be lured into binary options scams. Scamwatch is warning investors to beware of binary trading scams that lure you in with the opportunity to make money through asset price movement. So far this year Australians have lost $3 million to these scammers. Binary options involve predicting the movements of commodity, asset or index prices over a short time. Although they may be a legitimate financial product with many licenced firms trading in them, binary options are speculative, high risk products that are almost impossible to predict, even for professionals.
There are groups of scammers who use binary options to steal your money. These scammers use high-pressure sales tactics to try and convince you to invest in a trading account, making claims that the system is simple and high profits are guaranteed. If you agree, they direct you to a website with a login, account details and the trading platform. They put your money into the account and demonstrate a number of successful trades to encourage you to invest greater sums of money. Once invested in the scheme, victims have reported that their money begins to disappear quickly. When they try to withdraw from the scheme, they find it impossible to get their money out of the account. The scammer does everything they can to keep the victim in the program but inevitably they stop taking the victim's calls and, after a short period of time, it is common for the firms to disappear. If you receive a phone call or see an online ad offering binary trading be very cautious. Do your research on the offer and the company. Don't agree to anything straight away.
How these scams work. You receive a call out of the blue offering a secure investment with fast, high returns. You might also come across these scammers through social media or online ads. The scammers have professional looking websites to help them appear legitimate, usually with a login process, personalised account details and a trading platform. The victim invests money into the account and either the victim or an agent attempts to guess whether a particular commodity price will go up or down over short intervals. If you guess correctly, the account is credited with a small return. If you guess incorrectly, you lose the entire amount placed. The odds are stacked against you so it is very likely that you will lose over time. When you attempt to withdraw money, you find it almost impossible to do so and often lose the entire investment. Binary option scammers will also ask for personal information, claiming they need it to transfer money or that it is required for anti-money laundering purposes. Providing this information can leave you open to identity theft.
Consider any approach for investment offers carefully, especially if they are over the phone. Be suspicious of investment opportunities that promise a high return with little or no risk. Check ASIC's list of companies you should not deal with. If the company that called you is on the list - don't deal with them. However, if they do not appear on the list it doesn't mean they are legitimate. Check ASIC’s professional registers to make sure the provider has an Australian Financial Services (AFS) License or is authorised by an AFS Licensee. Don't let anyone pressure you into making decisions about money or investments - get independent legal or financial advice. Carefully consider who you are giving personal information to, such as details from your passport or bank account, as this could be later used for identity theft. If you are looking to invest in binary options your best bet is to just say no and look for a safer, less risky investment. You can report scams to the ACCC via the Scamwatch Report a scam page.

The harsh reality is that there are multiple binary options brokers that are a scam. There are various reasons why a binary options broker could be scams, which are non-payment of legitimately earned money, fraudulently awarded bonuses and claims made by the broker that are simply not true. Below you’ll find a list of binary options scams that you should 100% avoid when you come across them: Update: Currently the most trusted broker in the business is 24Option. It's in the business for several years now and has multiple licenses in various reputable jurisdictions. So, if you want to go 100% safe, then go 24Option. GlobalTrader365 – You can usually know if a broker is suspicious just by their unprofessional name. GlobalTrader365 is a name one would choose randomly and quick when creating a new get-rich-quick scheme and scam. Based on several real trader reviews on multiple forums the modus operandi of this broker is to manipulate people into depositing very large sums of money above $5,000+ claiming that then they will reveal some magic winning secrets.
Once you deposit, you’ll never hear of him again.
Binary International – There is not that much information available about this binary options broker. This does not necessarily mean that this broker is a scam however the fact that it’s extremely hard to find any information about the company running this broker is suspicious. The general rule of thumb when registering at binary options brokers is that you should avoid anything that appears suspicious. You should trust your gut feeling if something appears of the off. While they might not be scamming people directly (not paying out winnings etc.
) but they seem to be very happy about misleading random people into believing that with binary options “you can turn $200 into $1,000 in 60 seconds”. While the broker might be legit, we believe you should not risk and register there considering that there are plenty of 100% reliable alternatives out there. VIPBinary is a suspicious broker you should better avoid.
One of the best ways to decide of a binary options broker is a scam or not is to look out for real trader reviews at reputable forex or binary options websites. One of the most important forums to look after such information is ForexPeaceArmy. com that regularly has real user feedback posted on brokers. If you see a broker and can’t verify the company behind it and genuinely have no clue who the people running it are then you should better stay away. Our binary options scams list is constantly growing based on the feedback and experiences we get.
Check back later if you want to find out more information about scam binary options brokers. If you want to trade at genuine brokers then check out our legit binary options brokers page. On that page we listed the broker we now for sure are 100% legitimate and have no history of scamming their traders. Right now the broker with the most licenses and the best reputation in the business is 24Option. Check out the linked review in order to find out exactly why this broker is 100% legit.
